You’re Invited: A Hands-On AI Night for Families
Posted Date: 04/09/26 (03:00 PM)
Dear Murray School District Families,
AI is no longer just a futuristic concept, it’s becoming an integrated part of how our students learn and how our world operates. But how does that affect your home life and your child’s wellbeing?
We invite you to A Family AI Adventure on Monday, April 20th. This isn't your typical sit-and-listen presentation. We’ve designed this night to help you:
- Protect & Support (5:00-5:30 PM): Hear from our Prevention Specialist, Sierra Marsh, on navigating tech consumption and student wellness.
- See the Classroom in Action (5:30-6:00 PM): Join teacher Ben Scoville for a look at how AI is actually being used to enhance student learning.
- Play Like a Student (6:00-7:00 PM): Step into our "Parent Playground" with our Ed-Tech coaches to get hands-on experience with the same AI tools your students may be using.
When: Monday, April 20 | 5:00–7:00 PM
Where: Murray High School - Choral Room
UPDATE: We wanted to make some of the information and resources available to anyone who was unable to attend, or would like to go back and review. Family/Student Supports & Wellness - slides & links
