Last week Murray Drama competed at the Region Drama Competition. Murray placed 3rd in Sweepstakes, qualified 32 students for State (including our One Act Play), and the following students won medals or special awards:
- Katie Hurley–2nd place Humorous Monologues
- Max Schulz and Kieran Sommers–3rd place Pantomime
- Lauren Bird and Genevieve Myers–3rd place Classical Scenes
- Abigail Baugh–3rd place Musical Theatre Scenes
- One Act Play–Special Judges Award for “Most Transformative” Performance and Staging
